On February 6, 2021 from 8-9pm, Hersey Band will be holding its 13th annual In Good Taste fundraiser virtually. This event is the second largest fundraiser of the year for the band and we desperately need to have a successful event to support future marching band and jazz activities.
This will be a fun evening that you can enjoy in your home while viewing the event online. It will consist of access to 1 hour of band programming including performances from alumni band members, current Hersey jazz ensembles and small ensembles, a silent auction, grand raffle drawing, and if you choose, a “tasting experience” box to enjoy in your home.
Tasting Experience – with a $100 donation, you will receive the following package to enjoy at home with friends or family while viewing the event online. The tasting experience box will need to be picked up between Feb 4th-6th. Address details for the pick up will follow at the end of January. The box cannot be shipped.
DEADLINE FOR ORDERING THE ‘TASTING EXPERIENCE’ BOX IS MONDAY, JANUARY 18TH.
- Three bottles of wine from Italy

- Access to a wine education video hosted by Donato DiVietro, followed by a live chat during the main event. (Donato is a Chicagoland wine distributor for Prestige Wine Imports/Gruppo Mezzacorona and former Hersey Band parent)
Note: Registration is included with the Tasting Experience and a link to the virtual event will be emailed to you the morning of the event.

STUDENT INCENTIVE! We are offering a valuable incentive to band parents to help build your child’s individual band account, while raising much needed funds to support the band.
Grand Raffle Tickets: Your student will receive a credit equal to 20% of all Grand Raffle tickets sold. Grand Raffle tickets are $25 each or 5 for $100. You can credit a student by putting their name in the box below before Adding to Cart. If you are not purchasing grand raffle tickets on the website and are buying tickets directly from a student checks can be made out to HIA.
